A Day in the Life of a Yacht Broker

In the morning, I wake up not really knowing how my day will unfold. And that’s actually one of the things I love most about my job. After a good coffee, I begin organising my priorities for the day ahead. Some days I’m in the office handling emails, phone calls, negotiations and paperwork. Other days I’m out visiting yachts with clients, experiencing the sea even when I’m technically on land.

In this profession, nothing is ever completely predictable. There are days that seem quiet, almost empty, and then suddenly everything comes to life: an unexpected phone call, an urgent request, or an opportunity that needs to be seized quickly. Sometimes I speak with someone for the very first time, and before long a genuine relationship begins to develop — something built on trust rather than just a simple transaction.

There are moments of pressure, deadlines and delicate negotiations, but also great satisfaction when a client finds the right yacht or successfully completes an important purchase. Yacht brokerage is a business built on relationships, intuition and constant presence.

Every day is different, and perhaps it’s this unpredictability that makes it all so exciting.
