Feadship

Masters of Custom Superyacht Construction

Feedship Yachts

Feadship ranks among the most respected superyacht builders in the world. The name stands for First Export Association of Dutch Shipbuilders and represents a collaboration between two historic Dutch shipyards: Royal Van Lent and Koninklijke De Vries.

The company began in 1949 and has focused exclusively on fully custom superyachts ever since. Each yacht is built for a specific owner, so every vessel becomes entirely unique. As a result, Feadship yachts often exceed 70 metres and display remarkable attention to detail.

Owners work closely with naval architects, designers and project teams throughout the construction process. This close collaboration allows the shipyard to shape each yacht around the owner’s lifestyle. In addition, the process ensures that interior layouts, deck spaces and technical systems match the owner’s exact expectations.

Because of this approach, Feadship yachts often stand out for their refined appearance and thoughtful design. At the same time, the shipyard maintains the meticulous standards associated with Dutch yacht construction.

A Leader in Large Custom Yachts

Feadship operates major facilities in Aalsmeer and Kaag in the Netherlands. These shipyards have produced some of the most iconic private yachts ever launched.

Many Feadship vessels cruise in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Middle East, often serving as private floating residences for their owners.

The shipyard continues to build yachts that combine scale, elegance and exceptional craftsmanship.

Dutch Precision and Detail

Feadship yachts reflect the meticulous craftsmanship associated with Dutch shipbuilding. Every stage of construction receives careful attention, from hull fabrication to interior finishing.

Interior spaces often feature bespoke furniture, rare materials and artwork selected specifically for the owner. Exterior areas typically include expansive decks, swimming pools, beach clubs and entertainment spaces.

The shipyard collaborates with world-class design studios such as Studio De Voogt to shape the exterior styling and interior layout.

All brand names, trademarks and logos remain the property of their respective owners. Yacht Friend features these companies editorially to celebrate the global yachting industry.
