Westport Yachts

Westport Yachts traces its origins back to 1964 in Westport, Washington, where the company began building commercial fishing vessels and utility boats for the Pacific Northwest. Over time the shipyard expanded its capabilities and shifted toward luxury yacht construction as demand grew for large private motor yachts in North America. This transition allowed the company to apply its experience in durable boatbuilding to a new generation of luxury cruising yachts.
During the 1990s and early 2000s, Westport became widely recognised for producing large composite motor yachts built using advanced moulding techniques. Rather than constructing every yacht entirely from scratch, the shipyard developed semi-custom production models that combined the efficiency of series construction with the flexibility owners expect in the luxury market. This approach helped Westport deliver yachts more quickly while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and finish.
Today Westport continues to build large luxury motor yachts that operate in cruising destinations around the world. Many owners value the shipyard’s focus on spacious layouts, long-range cruising capability and dependable construction. As a result, Westport yachts remain a familiar sight in locations such as the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and the Pacific Northwest, where the company’s maritime roots first began.
Large Yachts Designed for Comfortable Cruising
Westport yachts typically range between 34 and 50 metres in length. These vessels provide generous living areas, multiple guest cabins and spacious outdoor decks.
Owners often appreciate the practical layouts and the emphasis on onboard comfort. Wide saloons, elegant dining areas and large flybridges create ideal spaces for relaxing and entertaining guests.
Many yachts also include features such as beach clubs, sun decks and water toy storage areas, allowing owners to enjoy time both on and off the water.
